Down Memory Lane

Down the memory lane

In the times of solitude
I am filled with a lot of gratitude
My mind recapitulates those memories
Those pleasant moments,No worries

That joy , that fun can never come again
Those laughter filled days , that rain
The days we played on the street
Fought with Frnds over a treat

Those days when mom used to scold us
Those Days when no worries would hold us
The days when we were so innocent
Life was so full & pleasant

Those days when even a small penny
The thought of that that one candy
Ringed A smile on our face
That Toothache slowed the pace
.
The days when we made paper boats,
Castles from the Sand in the nearby moat
Blowing Soap bubbles in the air
Watching in awe the hot balloons in the air

Chasing the aeroplane when it passed by
Playing Pranks on every passer by
Aiming Stones at those delicious mangoes
Oh how !!quickly this time goes

The days when we use to sit on the see-saw
Spending hours solving a jigsaw
No one bring those days around
When we laughed on the merry-go-round

When we played cricket in the lane
Breaking neighborhood Auntie's glass pane
Saying sorry to get the ball
Oh how many times I had a fall

Those DAYS Those DAYS
Where are those DAYS !!!
